Following the photos that debuted yesterday from
Arrow 's Season 3 premiere, The CW Network has
released another trailer jam-packed with new
footage, including our first, very brief look at
Komodo. We reported last month that Matt Ward
is playing this villainous archer, who appears in
the second episode this season. We also have a
photo from the trailer that gives us a better look
at this mysterious villain.
Check out the latest scenes, which also feature
Oliver ( Stephen Amell) trying to multi-task during
a high-speed chase, a healthy Quentin Lance
( Paul Blackthorne ), Peter Stormare as the new
Count Vertigo and Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer.
In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens
with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling.
Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain
Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task
Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he
can finally have a private life and asks Felicity
out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye
off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling,
forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be
Oliver Queen - not as long as the city needs The
Arrow .
